GREECE MULLS TORPEDO PURCHASE

ATHENS [MENL] -- Greece has been negotiating the purchase of torpedos forits naval fleet. The Defense Ministry has been discussing the procurement with Germany'sAtlas Elektronik and Italy's Whitehead Alenia Sistemi Subacquei, or WASS.The Greek requirement was for 51 electronically driven torpedoes.
