IRAN REPORTS CAPTURE OF AL QAIDA CELL

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran said it has tracked and dismantled an Al Qaida cell. Officials said the Al Qaida cell had been operating in eastern Iran andsought to launch attacks against government facilities. They said the cellwas composed of operatives who had entered Iran from neighboringAfghanistan.
