SAUDI TORPEDOES QATAR-KUWAITI GAS LINE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has torpedoed a project to establish anatural gas link between Kuwait and Qatar. Qatari officials said Riyad refused to allow the gas pipeline to enterSaudi territory from Qatar to Kuwait. Under the plan, Qatar was to havesupplied Kuwait and later other countries with gas from its North Field.
