TURKEY WINS STINGER PROJECT IN HOLLAND

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has won a project to sell U.S.-origin short-rangesurface-to-air missiles to the Dutch Army. Turkey's state-owned Aselsan has concluded a deal to sell 18 Stingerlaunching systems to the Royal Netherlands Army. Aselsan, Turkey's largestdefense contractor, was said to have bested such European majors asGermany's Rheinmetall and EADS/LFK.
