Israel's Military Remains Flawed

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Two years after its war with Hizbullah, Israel's military was said to remain inadequate.
Officers acknowledged that many combat units remain without basic
equipment, including night-vision devices and advanced assault rifles. They
said training has not been standardized, with many units receiving poor
instruction, particularly in conventional combat.
