Morocco Orders Advanced Air Transport

LONDON [MENL] -- Morocco has ordered an advanced air transport from Europe.
Morocco has selected the C-27J tactical transport aircraft from Italy's
Alenia Aeronautica in the first such procurement of the aircraft in North
Africa. Rabat has ordered four C-27Js for 130 million euro in what was
deemed the modernization of the air transport fleet of the Royal Moroccan
Air Force.
"This is the first C-27J order from a non-NATO country," Alenia
Aeronautica said.
