IAI Develops Missile-Warning C2 System

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel has developed a command and control system to
identify and track short-range missiles and rockets.
The state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries has developed and installed
a C2 system in a major southern city in an effort to reduce civilian
casualties from Hamas missile and rocket strikes from the Gaza Strip. The
C2 system uses a range of sensors to detect rocket launches and predict
where they will land.
"It helps the emergency services identify the location that was hit and
then the municipality knows which infrastructure is there and which forces
it needs to dispatch," IAI said.
