WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has imposed sanctions on companies
and agents of Pakistan's black market nuclear network.
Officials said companies and individuals deemed as having sold nuclear

Abdul Qadir Khan would be sanctioned.

slow, incremental stages of other nuclear weapons development programs," the
State Department said. "The network's actions have irrevocably changed the
proliferation landscape and have had lasting implications for international
security."
