Turkey Accelerates OPS Against PKK

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey's military has ordered an escalation against the
Kurdish Workers Party.
Officials said Turkish ground troops have intensified activities along
the border with Iraq. They said the military patrols reflected Ankara's
assessment of an impending PKK bombing campaign in Turkish cities.
"We are detecting increased smuggling and terrorist movements along the
[Iraqi] border," a Turkish security source said.
