Greek Firm Wins RAM Missile Contract
ATHENS [MENL] -- A Greek firm has won a contract to manufacture components
for a U.S.-origin surface-to-air missile system.
Greece's Intracom Defense Electronics has signed a $9.8 million contract
with Raytheon to manufacture electronic units for the Rolling Airframe
Missile surface-to-air missile system. Executives said the units would be
installed on RAM systems for the U.S. military and foreign clients,
including those in the Middle East.
