Turkey Struggles With UAV Projects

ANKARA [MENL] -- Despite more than five years of efforts, Turkey's military
continues to struggle toward its goal to build an unmanned aerial vehicle
capability.
Officials said Turkey's government and military have failed to develop
an indigenous UAV capability, rather became dependent on Israeli and Western
suppliers. They said this has resulted in the loss of tens of millions of
dollars as well as years in UAV delivery delay.
