Italian Firm Frontrunner In Turkish Project

ANKARA [MENL] -- A British-Italian company has been identified as the
frontrunner in another Turkey military helicopter project.
Industry sources said Turkey's Defense Industry Secretariat was expected
to award AgustaWestland a multi-billion-dollar contract for the supply of
utility helicopters to the Turkish Land Forces Command. The sources said
AgustaWestland has been leveraging its current attack helicopter project for
the utility helicopter tender.
