GCC Funding Helps Insurgency In Lebanon

LONDON [MENL] -- Lebanon has identified Gulf Cooperation Council states as
the source of funding for Al Qaida-aligned groups.
Officials said elements within the six GCC states were relaying funding
to Sunni insurgency groups in Lebanon. They said the funding has reached
Lebanese insurgents in Palestinian refugee camps and other Sunni
strongholds.
