U.S. Reports Arms Transfers To Lebanon

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has reported the transfer of tens of
millions of dollars in advanced equipment to the Lebanese military.
Officials said the administration of President Barack Obama has approved
a range of U.S. weapons and military platforms for the Lebanese military and
security forces. They said much of the equipment was meant to enhance
Lebanon's special operations forces.
