U.S. Surprised By Iranian Military

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has been surprised by the boldness of
Iran's military.
A retired senior U.S. Navy commander acknowledged that Washington was
repeatedly taken aback by Iranian missions. [Ret.] Rear Adm. McKnight, a
naval task force commander in the Gulf, said the United States did not
expect Iranian actions in the region, including the capture of British Navy
sailors.
