Syrian Opposition Reorganizes
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Syrian opposition, defeated several times by
President Bashar Assad's military, intends to reorganize in what was
expected to result in a new leadership.
The opposition was preparing to reassess policy and its leadership at a
meeting in Turkey on March 22. Opposition sources and analysts said the
two-day parley would address the defections within the Muslim
Brotherhood-aligned Syrian National Council.
