Iran Touts Sub Fleet

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran has touted its submarine fleet, saying it posed a
threat to the United States.
The Iranian military said its electric-diesel submarine fleet could
outmaneuver its adversaries, particularly the U.S. Navy. Officials said the
Iranian submarines were virtually stealth and designed for the shallow
waters of the Gulf.
