Iran On Defensive In Levant

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran, amid the Sunni revolt in Lebanon and Syria, has
been on the defensive in the Levant, a report said.
The American Enterprise Institute asserted that Iran has seen a decline
in influence in several countries in the Middle East. In a report, the
institute cited the revolt against Syrian President Bashar Assad, Sunni
unrest in Lebanon and tensions with the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip.
