Egypt Seeks To Militarize Sinai

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Egypt has been pursuing a strategy of remilitarizing the
Sinai Peninsula in violation of the 1979 peace treaty with Israel, a report
said.
The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs asserted that Egypt was
determined to deploy combat platforms and troops along its border with
Israel in a remilitarization of Sinai.
