Saudi, UAE Major Light Arms Buyers

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have been
deemed leading procurers of light weapons.
An international study said Saudi Arabia marked a leading importer of
light weapons and ammunition over the last four years. The Small Arms Survey
said Riyad procured hundreds of millions of dollars worth of weapons along
with such top clients as Australia, Britain, Canada, Germany, France and the
United States.
