U.S. Develops Solar UAV

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States could see the first solar-powered
unmanned aerial vehicle.
Three U.S. companies have been working to develop a solar-powered UAV
for military and civilian applications. Ascent Solar Technologies, Silent
Falcon UAS Technologies and Bye Aerospace were collaborating to equip a
small tactical UAV with solar batteries.
