U.S. Sends 1,000 For Israeli BMD Drill

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has sent 1,000 military personnel for
a ballistic missile defense exercise with Israel.
U.S. European Command has begun flying 1,000 army personnel to Israel
for Austere Challenge-2012 exercise with Israel. Officials said the Defense
Department would assign up to 3,500 U.S. military personnel for the BMD
exercise, scheduled to begin on Oct. 21.
