Egypt Cracks Down On Shi'ites
JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Egypt's new Islamist regime has maintained a crackdown
on the nation's Shi'ite minority, a report said.
The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs asserted that Egyptian security
forces were raiding Shi'ite houses of worship and dispersing gatherings. In
a report, the center said the regime of President Mohammed Morsi regarded
the estimated 2.2 million Shi'ites as more dangerous than Israel.
