Saudi, India Increase Security Ties

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- India and Saudi Arabia have quietly increased security
cooperation.
Western diplomats said India and Saudi Arabia were moving toward an
alliance that could include military cooperation, intelligence exchange and
counter-insurgency training. They said the Gulf Cooperation Council kingdom
was meeting with India on a regular basis regarding the prospect for a range
of joint exercises and strategic discussions.
