GCC Urged To Adopt Israel C2 Model
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Gulf Cooperation Council has been urged to adopt
the Israeli model for missile defense command and control.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy called on the GCC as well
as the United States to study Israel's success in defending against hundreds
of missile and rockets in the November 2012 mini-war with the Hamas-ruled
Gaza Strip. The institute, in a report by a U.S. Air Force officer, said the
missile salvos intercepted by Israeli assets could be faced by the six GCC
states in any war with Iran.
