Israel, After U.S., Plays Down Syrian CW
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel, nearly a month after that of the United States,
has decided to play down dangers from Syria's chemical weapons stockpile.
The Israeli government and military have released assessments that the
prospect of a Syrian CW attack on the Jewish state was negligible. Instead,
the regime of President Bashar Assad was said to have increased protection
of its CW stockpile.
