Al Qaida Targets Egypt Mainland

CAIRO [MENL] -- Al Qaida, forming an alliance with the ousted Muslim
Brotherhood, has moved from the Sinai Peninsula to mass-casualty strikes on
Egypt's mainland.
Officials said Al Qaida militias were working with the Brotherhood to
target interests of the military-backed regime in major Egyptian cities.
They cited suicide bombings and other strikes on military and police
installations over the last few weeks.
