Al Qaida Battles For Syrian Oil

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Al Qaida militias have been in violent competition in
Syria over power, money and oil, a report said.
A report sponsored by U.S. Central Command asserted that Al Qaida
militias were fighting for control over Syrian resources. A key battle was
over Syria's crude oil fields, which halted fuel supply to most of the
country.
