Iran, Lebanon Discuss SAM Deal

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran and Lebanon have been negotiating a deal for air
defense systems.
Lebanese sources said Iran's Defense Ministry has sent a technical team
to review Lebanese military requirements and propose air defense solutions.
The sources said the Lebanese military has expressed interest in several
Russian-origin air defense systems that could counter overflights by Israeli
combat jets.
