TURKEY SETS NAVAL PRIORITIES

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has designated three programs as naval priorities. The Turkish Navy and Defense Industry Undersecretariat have deemed theprocurement of surface vessels, submarines and their upgrade the leadingprograms of the navy. Officials said the three projects would lead a rangeof other naval programs over the next decade.
