ISRAEL SEEKS TO UPGRADE APACHE FLEET

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The Israel Air Force plans to upgrade its fleet of Apacheattack helicopters. Military sources said the air force intends to modernize its fleet of 40 Apache AH-64A helicopters in an estimated $500 million project. They said the helicopters would be upgraded to AH-64D configuration.
