KUWAIT UNVEILS OIL PRIVATIZATION PLAN

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has announced plans to privatize parts of the oilindustry. Energy Minister Ahmad Fahd Al Sabah said the plan would recruit privatecontractors to explore for crude oil and natural gas. Ahmad said parts ofthe state-owned petrochemical industry would be sold.
