EGYPT, U.S. COOPERATE ON AL QAIDA

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt and the United States have sought to increasecooperation in the war against Al Qaida. Officials said the two countries have held high-level meetings to determine measures to increase counter-insurgency cooperation. Over the last two weeks, CIA director Porter Goss, FBI director Robert Mueller, State Department counter-terrorism coordinator Henry Crumpton met Egyptian leaders in Cairo.
