Kuwait Drafts New Bill On Military Draft

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait, seeking to prepare for an Iranian attack on the
Gulf, has formulated legislation for a military draft.
Officials said the government has launched an effort to draft a bill on
military conscription that would differ significantly with current
regulations. They said the proposed law would reduce compulsory military
service and exempt a range of professions from the draft.
