RUSSIA EXPECTS IMMINENT ALGERIAN DEAL

MOSCOW [MENL] -- Russia expects the imminent completion of a multi-billiondollar arms deal with Algeria. Industry sources said Russia hopes to sign an agreement that wouldexport $4 billion worth of platforms, upgrades and weapons to Algeria. Theysaid the agreement could be signed over the next few weeks.
