TURKEY PREPARES FOR SPY SATELLITE RfP

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has been preparing for the imminent launch of atender for a military spy satellite. Officials said the Defense Industry Undersecretariat, known as SSM,intends to launch a tender for the procurement of a military spy satelliteover the next few weeks. They said SSM plans to invite several Western andother contractors to bid on the project.
