EGYPT SEEKS TO WOO EGYPT WITH CI AID

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration has sought to woo Egypt to joina U.S. counter-insurgency program. Officials said the State Department has been discussing Egyptian participation in the Antiterrorism Assistance Program. The program training, equipment, and technology was meant to enhance counter-insurgency capabilities.
