ISRAEL FIRES FIRST SALVO OF ARROW-2 INTERCEPTORS
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel has completed the first test of its Arrow-2 todemonstrate the system's ability to intercept a salvo of enemy missiles. The test conducted on Sunday was largely a simulation that demonstratedthe Arrow-2 system's response to a salvo of enemy missiles. Thedemonstration, the tenth launch of the interceptor and the fifth of theentire system, tested the Green Pine radar and the Golden Citron command andcontrol system.
