SAUDI MILITARY GOES ON ALERT

LONDON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia is said to have placed its military on alertamid the expectation of a U.S.-led war against Iraq. Saudi opposition sources said the army and National Guard moved troopsto the northern border with Kuwait. Troops were also moved to strategicinstallations, particularly oil facilities, to boost security.
