AL QAIDA SPENDS LESS THAN 10% ON OPERATIONS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Al Qaida spends virtually all of its revenueon maintaining its global network of Islamic insurgency groups. A report prepared for the presidency of the United Nations SecurityCouncil asserts that 90 percent of Al Qaida's expenses relates to itsnetworkof agents. These include infrastructure communication, networks, trainingfacilities and protection.
