U.S. WARNS OF N. KOREAN NUKE DEALS IN MIDEAST

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States is concerned that North Korea hasbegun marketing its newly-acquired expertise in nuclear weapons to MiddleEast states. U.S. officials said Pyongyang is marketing nuclear technology to thesame Middle East clients that bought North Korea's missile expertise,technology and components over the last 20 years. They said such states asIran, Iraq, Libya and Syria, which have bought North Korean missiles andknow-how, are also pursuing programs for nuclear development.
