EGYPT WILL SHIP GAS TO FRANCE BY 2006

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt has pledged to ship natural gas to France by 2006. Egyptian officials said an accord recently concluded between Cairo andParis will ensure Egyptian gas shipments to France at the end of 2005 orearly 2006. They said the accord was discussed during the visit by EgyptianOil Minister Sameh Fahmi to Paris last week.
