KUWAIT LAUNCHES EMERGENCY MEASURES

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has launched emergency security measures thatcould last until the end of any U.S.-led war against neighboring Iraq. Kuwaiti officials said the measures include roadblocks throughout thesheikdom, the closure of major highways, bolstered army and policedeployment and frequent stop and searches of Kuwaitis.
