U.S. URBAN WARFARE TECH MIGHT NOT BE READY

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- U.S. urban warfare capabilities might be hampered fromfailure to complete technological developments amid preparations to wage waragainst Iraq. Congressional sources said a range of mishaps and delays have marred aprogram to develop a range of new systems to improve the military's urbanwarfare capability. The sources said many of the technologies and subsequentproducts were approved for production and deployment as part of anaccelerated development program.
