BAHRAIN PLANS TO STOP FOREIGN LABOR BY 2005

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Bahrain, rocked by protests from unemployed nationals,has pledged to end foreign labor by 2005. Officials said the kingdom will no longer issue permits for the entry offoreign workers by 2005. They said authorities would halt the renewal ofpermits for existing foreign laborers.
