IRAN'S MILITARY ROCKED BY AIR CRASH

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran's military has been struck by the crash of anairplane that killed more than 300 troops, including commanders of the eliteRevolutionary Guard Corps. The Russian-built Ilyushin Il-76 military transport crashed on Wednesdayevening near the city of Kerman. The official Iranian news agency Irnareported that 302 people were killed, all of them members of theRevolutionary Guards.
