JORDAN CONFIDENT OF OIL SUPPLY

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordan has expressed confidence that it will maintain asupply of oil throughout a U.S.-led war against Iraq. Jordanian media have reported assertions by officials that the Hashemitekingdom has arranged for alternative oil supplies. For years, Iraq has beenthe chief supplier of oil to Jordan. Half of the Iraqi oil is supplied free.
