U.S. ARMY OPENS TENDER FOR IRAQI CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Army has launched a tender for a $100 millionto refurbish major Iraqi facilities after the elimination of the regime ofPresident Saddam Hussein. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invited 13 companies to bid on aone-year contract for construction work in the Middle East region. The bidswere scheduled to be submitted on Tuesday.
