TURKEY REGARDS U.S. ARMY AS LOW-PAYING EMPLOYER

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey appears disappointed by the prospect of the U.S.military as an employer. Turkish industrial and professional associations have been approached bythe U.S. Army as an employer in projects to accommodate the tens ofthousands of American troops being requested for deployment. The army issaid to have proposed to employ Turks to supply a range of services.
