EGYPTIANS, JORDANIANS STAGE LAST STAND FOR SADDAM

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Arab nationals from several U.S. allies in the MiddleEast are waging what appears to comprise a last stand by the regime of IraqiPresident Saddam Hussein. U.S. officials said thousands of nationals from Egypt and Jordan havejoined Saddam's forces to defend Sunni neighborhoods of Baghdad. They saidthe foreign Arab volunteers have already engaged U.S. forces in the Iraqicapital.
